We run a small, cookieless system that measures how fast and reliably pages load, so we can fix slowness and breakage, especially for visitors on slower or more distant networks, before it becomes a widespread problem. This notice describes it in full. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
Our legal basis
We process this data under our legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in keeping the website fast, available, and free of defects. The data is anonymous, uses no cookies or device storage, and cannot identify or be linked to an individual, so it falls outside the cookie-consent rules of the ePrivacy Directive. You can still switch it off (see below).
What is measured
When a page finishes loading and you navigate away, your browser sends one small message containing:
- Timing measurements — how many milliseconds the page took to connect, respond, render its main content (Core Web Vitals: LCP, CLS, INP), and become interactive.
- The page type — e.g. "product page" or "country hub" (derived from the address, never the full address with any query text).
- Network context, added on our server — the country your request arrived from, the Cloudflare data centre that served you, your network/ISP name, the TLS and HTTP protocol versions, and the round-trip time our edge measured. These come from the connection itself; your browser does not send them.
- Device class — "mobile", "tablet", or "desktop", and a browser family (e.g. "chrome"), derived from your browser's standard identifier. We do not store that identifier itself.
- Connection hint — your browser's own estimate of connection quality ("4g", "3g", etc.), if it offers one.
- Light interaction counts — how far you scrolled, roughly how long the tab was active, and a count of clicks, used to spot pages that frustrate people. No mouse paths, no keystrokes, no screen recording.
- Script errors — if code on the page fails, we record the error type and a message (with any embedded web addresses stripped out), so we can fix it.
What is deliberately NOT collected
- No cookies and no local storage for this. Nothing is written to your device.
- No IP address. We derive only your country from the connection; the address itself is not stored by this system.
- No identifier of any kind — no user ID, session ID, or fingerprint. Each message stands alone and cannot be linked to another.
- No tracking across pages or visits. We cannot tell that two pageviews came from the same person.
- No full browser identifier and no full web address are stored.
- No names, emails, or form contents.
How long we keep it
These measurements are stored in aggregate analytics infrastructure and automatically expire after 90 days.
How to turn it off
The monitoring honours two browser signals automatically. If you enable Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser, the beacon does not run at all. Blocking scripts for selvascore.com also disables it.
Who can see it
The data is processed by Cloudflare on our behalf and is accessible only to SelvaScore's own team, through an access-controlled internal dashboard. It is not sold, shared, or used for advertising.
